Doing Hawaii is a Youtube Channel chronicling my experiences in Hawaii and was started in October of 2013. The idea at the time was to share my adventures with family and friends back on the mainland.
Though, the process of restarting my story here soon caught up with me. Which didn't provide for the time it takes to record, edit, and share videos. That led to the channel not being fully nurtured, so it did not grow.
For many years after that, not very many videos were made or shared on the youtube channel.
Then something both destructive and creative occurred, which changed everything!
On May 3rd, 2018, the Kilauea Volcano erupted admittedly in my backyard. It was at this time when everything changed for me. My daily life was on hold, and I was in a significant state of readiness.
I didn't know what was going to happen next. That is when I decided to start recording the eruption and share the experience on my channel. Little did I know at that time, it would launch the channel.
It went from 34 subscribers to 6000+ in just a few short months. Now we are at 13,000+ and growing! After the eruption ended, I decided to recreate my daily life. I have made choices that allow me to take the actions needed to continue the channel.
However, I haven't done this alone. If it were not for the generous support from you, the subscriber, all this would not be possible. Please help me continue this journey and share these experiences with you.
Your commitment to supporting the channel will go a very long way in making all this happen and is hugely appreciated.
